Hey so I did a founding member the other day on Substack and then yesterday tried to send another 25 on Venmo but the last four weren’t working. Did we get that sorted out? I could use a personal Michelin recipe. Can’t cook really but still. I could use some bragging rights 😂
Apparently Venmo is just bouncing the last four right now. Happened to me too. It may just be about whether he’s in your phone as a contact already? But I can confirm for certain it’s the right Venmo handle, at least, and you can pay without confirming and Pablo will get it.
Venmo can also be very weird when high traffic happens it starts to trigger internal alarms. That's when you start to get things like venmo asking for the other party's phone number because they want to make sure that you know the person you're sending money to. Also always remember to send your money as a gift. And label it as something like rent, grocery money, etc. then immediately set the activity to private.
